Is Microdermabrasion for you?

Microdermabrasion is an exciting skin therapy that quickly rejuvenates your skin and works to refine complexion lines, wrinkles, and diminish brown spots. The result is a vibrant, healthy skin with an unmistakable youthful glow. There is no discomfort, chemicals, down time or lifestyle inconvenience. Optimum results are achieved in a series of non-invasive treatments. Basic rejuvenating treatments should be spaced 2(two) weeks apart. Very aggressive treatments such as acne scarring or severely sun-damaged skin can be scheduled weekly. Microdermabrasion greatly enhances poor, dull skin texture by gently resurfacing the superficial skin layers; softens and modifies fine “expression” lines typically seen on the forehead and around the mouth; and it polishes and reduces fine lines on the cheeks generally caused by aging and sun-damage. Microdermabrasion is a repeated mechanical injury using grains and high powered suction encouraging the skin to regenerate faster than its biological clock.

The vitality and improved characteristics of the skin tone, texture and elasticity are amazing to see. There is also the suggestion that anyone with a tendency towards hyperpigmentation should consider avoiding summer treatments or treatments prior to vacations in tropical climates. Always follow the technicians suggestions as to waxing precautions. Microdermabrasion creates an environment in which product assimilation has the maximum opportunity to nourish and fortify the skin.
