What are the benefits of Celluma™ LED Technology?

Two years ago I added this wonderful device called Celluma™ LED (Light Emitting Diode) Technology. This technology is not new to the industry, but the devices that deliver have come a long way.

Celluma™ is a flexible shield that sits just above the skin being treated. It is low level light intensity, with wavelengths that stimulate the cellular mitochondria by 6 x’s. The result is an increase in ATP synthesis. ATP (Adenosine triphosphate) is a complex organic chemical that participates in many cellular processes. Found in all forms of life, ATP is often referred to as the "molecular unit of currency" of intracellular energy transfer. The Celluma™ is an external light source that stimulates the ATP of the skin’s cellular structure

Celluma™ increases cellular microcirculation your results will range from a reduction of fine lines and wrinkles by increasing collagen volume as well as, increasing texture and clarity.

LED technology has been used for years in reducing acne by targeting Acne Vulgaris, a long-term skin disease that occurs when hair follicles are clogged with dead skin cells and oil from the skin. It is characterized by blackheads or whiteheads, pimples, oily skin, and possible scarring.

Cystic Acne is characterized by the presence of Propionibacterium acnes (P. acnes) a bacteria that lives on the skin and contributes to the follicle infections. These are deep rooted lesions that form under the skin. When pores become clogged, P. Acnes bacteria can cause infection and inflammation. Celluma™ can reduce the inflammation while targeting P. acnes. ATP with it’s microcirculation will create an aerobic environment killing the P. acnes and calm the texture, tone of the skin.

This is a non-toxic, non-invasion technology and for only 30 minutes is one high-tech way to improve the overall texture, tone, and quality of your skin.

Be sure to contact me to see how Celluma™ can change your look today.
